Not a matter of if Florida becomes a Democrat state, but when. If not this year, then 2024, I’d guess.
Major cities are the growth centers for liberal/progressives/socialists...which then spread out to fill in the rural areas between the cities. It’s like a malignant cancer taking over a patient’s body, ultimately killing them.

It's the same in a lot of otherwise decent states. Look any an electoral map broken down by county. You'll see the same pattern as CA: a large section conservative, and globs of libturds. Trouble is, those have greater numbers, an example why the dems want popular vote, no electoral. The Texas map is going that way, and so is FL.

So am I.

I saw some advice on a forum about that subject. It was to go where the creeps don't like it. Sounds simple enough, but the reality is, one needs find a less friendly climate. The guy, a preppier and survivalist, says upper Wisconsin is not a place the kind of idiots we see swarming into FL would like to be. I didn't like the idea, but could see some logic to it. But, more recent events show that's not even the case. I guess the real solution is to be where, if something happens to a miscreant, no one cares or even notices. Trouble is, that kind of place is more leery of outsiders.

As far as overseas is concerned. They're smiling when you're a tourist bringing lots of money and being a sucker for their products and services.In reality, they hate us, and will let you know it, when the US no longer is a Cornucopia. Sure there are exceptions in individuals. Life can be made very difficult in a lot of those places, and unpleasant sometimes.

This is becoming a "fight or flight" kinda thing for me. But I can't help figure that "flight" will only get us so far, and *they'll* eventually catch up to where we are and pollute that. So, I have to wonder, is it worth "fighting" for the state we live in currently. I'd like to stay in FL and fight for it. Whatever we need to do.... is it worth it? Can we do it effectively? Can we make the lives of the libs so miserable that they want to leave? We ought to be able to do something....

^^^^This. I wrestle with this all the time. I will stay in Florida until my last standing parent dies, then prepare to leave the country until the Socialism has run its course.
Still trying to find that next-best gun-friendly location...?

Ditto. I moved here because I know living in the cold and gray half the year sucks, and I'm not going to let anyone push me out because their politics isn't the same as mine. I'd rather stand my ground and make them uncomfortable as hell than turn tail and run to someplace with a less appealing climate. There's plenty of places in Florida that the libs won't colonize because the nearest Whole Foods and Starbucks are more than 10 miles away, and too many pickup trucks fly the Stars and Stripes (or Stars and Bars.). We've got property in Marion County just outside the Ocala National Forest that we're thinking seriously about building on. One thing this COVID-19 has taught me is that I can do 80% or more of my work remotely, so I can minimize my contact with metro-morons.

I'd worry, though, about what the dems/libs might be able to do to us on a "state" level... Repeal the FL constitutional (and the 2a portions) and/or, even the federal 2A itself? I'd be happy to live up near Columbia County since I could dive there. But I'd like to stay here if I can. Still, we're going to need to fight and fight hard.
