They always talk about tons of cases but the death rate is low the fact they are still pushing this is bs.
Everybody's got a plan until they get hit.

Yeah, but the flu is way down this year.
Hurrah for the Bonnie Blue Flag that bears a Single Star.

What I don't understand is so many people saying 99.9% of Covid19 cases recover. Look at just about any of the statistics sites for US locations, and divide the number of deaths by number of confirmed cases - they all show about 2% fatalities. Even with fudging on which are true Covid19 cases, the rate of death from catching Covid19 is about 2%, right?

Why is the fatality rate so often mis-stated (by non-medical folks)?

Because folks quote other folks, all with no medical knowledge, on social media.

Funny, but more accurate than anything else.
Disregard all statistics except one:
The Infection Fatality Rate (IFR).

That was indigent folks - the bums, homeless, mentally ill, addicts, drunks, people that defecate on the street that passed from whatever causes. Yes, De-Bloziealls had a mass burial highly staged for the MSM to help get Kommie Joe's replacement, Kommieala to be queen of the country.

They succeeded.
Ah that's one thing about our Flame, doesn't play any favorites! Flame hates everybody!

Here are a couple assumptions you're making that taint your logic:

First, you have an assumption that a reported covid death shows up in both columns. It would only appear in both if there is a positive Covid test. Right now anyone who dies with any respiratory distress is being counted, regardless if they have a test or not. Unless it would change treatment, there really isn't a reason for a test to confirm if they come in critical. The meme with a plane crash and the investor saying that it's another 200 Covid deaths is overblown, but has a sliver of truth.

Second, you have an assumption that everyone who gets covid appears in the first column. In places that have done random sampling of populations the projected infections is higher than expected, which fits the naritive as to why it has been so great at burning through the world- a bunch of folks get it, have no or mild symptoms, and never get tested. It's why the antibody test made such waves...

So less than 2%... probably much less than 1%... but it's all just horseshoes for political grandstanding... 2%, .1%... either way, best just to not get the plauge if you can avoid it.
