Markham Park limiting hours for range

They used that exit/entrance when they had the toy run there a number of years ago! Guess they could, but don't want to! Seems like a BS reason to shut the range down! But then again........
Well, it’s the whole park not just the range. The model airfield, boat pond, courts, pool etc are all closed too.
Nobody said the county government folks are smart. The range is a profitable and positive cash flow venue in the park. The only one really. Could be generating cash, keeping people employed and providing an outdoor space to the public.
I’d hire a few flag guys to run the exit lane like a blocked lane during construction and use it for two way in-out traffic for non-covid testing. Could have kept the park running. especially now the CDC says outdoor activities are actually helpful to stay healthy.

The gate is now the exit for vaccine cars. You enter from 84 then snake around the park get your shot. Just after the vaccine setup you take a right
on the back road that dumps onto 8th. No traffic backups on 84 cars entering the park just fill up the park roads.
