You know you're old when you can recall the days when Subway was actually a tasty sandwich and all the ingredients were really fresh.

Of course I can remember when McDonalds, Burger King and the rest also didn't taste like crap. That was about 30 years ago.

Nope, it's all shit now and some of it used to be pretty good. Given enough time they will screw everything up.

For example McDonalds screwed up their fries forever when they changed the way the oil they were fried in.

It used to be all about margin. Now, they add politics, as well. I believe the oil was changed to satisfy some pressure group, don't really remember which.
