Polishing Nickel
Polishing Nickel
Has anyone had any luck? I’m looking at my buddies 586 4” Smith and Wesson thats got a hazy nickel finish. It’s not scratches, but like cloudy in spots. Anyone have a trick for polishing it up or is it just a woods gun now?
I used Mothers Mag and Aluminum Polish from Walmart to clean up couple of Nickel revolvers.
I just use soft cotton cloth and do it by hand. It cleaned up my revolvers nicely.

I've used Flitz Paste Polish and a micro cloth with pretty good results.

Toothpaste works good for the "hazy finish."
Get the kind with the first ingredient Hydrated silica.

Neverdull, comes in a tin can with cotton soaked in magic juice. Shined up my nickel 357 pretty good.

I'm with TC, I like to start with the softest least aggressive avenue first, ten proceed. Neverdull. is a great product, but sometimes does not work.
