Before I left Hillsborough, I hit 4 different businesses and every one had a "No Mask, No Entry" sign, and everyone in the building had a mask on.

I passed a guy out in the country wearing TWO masks AND a face shield...in his car...with the windows up.

I pretty much stopped in every county I passed through, and masks got less and less important the farther east I went.

The Cocoa Walmart was my first Brevard stop and I did a quick estimate.

About 5% of the people around me wore masks.

I took mine off and never got a second glance.

All in all, I went to Walmart, Wawa, Publix and 7-11, and never saw a sign and very few masks.

They actually laughed at me in the Publix likker store!

Why is the hysteria still going full force in Hillsborough while in Polk, Osceola and Brevard masks are pretty much a joke?
Yup.

Event about 6-8 months ago, before the election. I live in Orlando, and most people wear masks inside businesses, and some outside in parks.

Stopped at a Rural King in Ocala while visiting my brother, and almost no one wore a mask inside the store. I was the only one who was pretty much. Mind you, I don't wear a mask because I'm afraid of COVID, just out of respect for the minimum wage employees who might be.

I treat a mask as the same way I do belts: 100% chance its not going to hurt anyone if I don't wear them (I work from home, there's no way I'm getting COVID lol), but its a hell of a lot more polite to the public if I do.

:D
that was one of the first things they adjusted to look at ear lobes and eye brow lines, it can even do crows feet on women, I watched a documentary on it years ago before covid, they were refining it in Muslim countries where partial face is obscured

I can't laugh hard enough when I see a "chin-masker". Typically older folks or overweight island fvcks from 90 mi. offshore...

For the little bit of indoor activity I do, I would rather pop one on for a few minutes than have to argue with some Social Justice Karen and possibly end up lifting my shirt.

I for one will miss the mandatory mask signs, they made it really easy to determine which businesses deserved my money and which didn't.

I went to Hard Rock Casino last night in Hollywood and was shocked to see a sign stating "Masks Optional" upon entering. Once inside, the majority of people I saw did not have a mask on. Probably less than 15 percent and this is in a pretty liberal part of Florida. Definitely a welcome sight.
