People get shot, means we need more gun control?
Restrictions are put in place, more people get shot.
Not enough gun control?
More restrictions are passed, still people are getting shot. Still more gun control, but still people are shot?
Why doesn't anything work? We keep doing the same thing (more gun control) and people still get shot.
Finally all the ;aw abiding and law enforcers are disarmed, still people are getting shot.
In years past, spikes in violence prompted calls for punitive measures like mandatory minimums in sentencing. Partly this was due to skepticism that anything besides "tough on crime" works. In the 1960s, the War on Poverty was followed by a doubling of the homicide rate; in the 1970s, social scientists concluded rehabilitation and prevention programs didn't work.
Since the same thing is repeated, more gun control, without getting any positive results shouldn't something else be tried?

Since there is no such thing as “knife violence”, “baseball bat violence” or “car violence”, there is no such thing as “gun violence”.
The first step to resolving a problem is a qualified assessment of the problem. Politicians are not capable of this, so they perpetuate the problem with legislation that only exacerbates it, which, in turn, makes them a major part of the problem.
Politicians must be taken out of the equation by nullification of their ineffective laws.

Much of the population is being persuaded that law abiding gun owners are somehow responsible for the shootings. My opinion is that this trend is a back door to disarming the populous by certain politicians that want to CONTROL the country and circumvent the Constitution. Now there is even more headway to this objective with the purging of members of our military by using "woke" propaganda. We are loosing the patriotic group, of our military, that would stand against firearm confiscation and leaving the indoctrinated group needed to suppress any uprisings when citizens refuse to give up their firearms.

As Albert Einstein said... The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.
When everything that comes out of your piehole is politics, politics, politics... YOU have a problem
