Wonder if the term "local authority" includes HOA's.

HOAs have been known to try to say whether people may have firearms in their homes, mostly condos.

I've never seen a property deed or convendent that restricted gun ownership.
I lived in a private gated community for about 10 years, the only thing in the covenants concerning firearms was: Except in an emergency, discharging a firearm within the community boundaries was prohibited.
