Does the question ask if you are "addicted to...marijuana..or other substance" or if you "smoke...marijuana?" I haven't filled out a 4473 in sooooo long, I don't remember; and they probably revised the form 17 times since then.

Fried is crazy since she's pushing both. But honestly, Constitutional Carry, Private Sales, and a Second Amendment Sanctuary resolve this issue.
She is not sincerely pushing CWPs--it is part of her statutory gig, so that is why she flashes one. Remember way back when Kirsten Gillebrand was highly rated by the NRA--then she got more power and turned completely. Fried will put that to shame at the first opportunity.

But there is nothing per se illegal about having a CWP and a MM card. You can have a CWP and not own (or even possess) a gun, and the same with a MM card and weed. The cards signify statutory rights you have qualified for, that's it. They are not legal evidence of anything beyond that.

However, when actual guns and actual weed mix, there are problems due the idiocy of the federal laws. This is problem for us all, but particularly for our vets, many of whom can benefit from MM for pain and PTSD. If the NRA, GOA, VFW, AL, etc., had genuine principles they would be fighting tooth and nail to get marijuana de-scheduled. But they are all in the clutches of people with other agendas, so don't count on it.
As FL GOA's State Director, I am fighting for dope not being a gun rights issues in terms of it stripping someone of their rights.

But understand that we only have so many resources right now and we have to triage our resources for the battles we are facing across the state and country.

IC. On 21e, when it said "...an unlawful user of..." I thought, yeah not unlawful if one has a card. Then I read the warning, which was the Ah Ha moment.

On 14, they're just being PC. I'd say "It". Anyone asks me about genders, I say "three", he, she, and it to cover all the other combinations.

My wife has the card, and she's been talking about the CWL. Pros and cons, especially possibilities down the road. I don't have a card. Can't stand the stuff, the way it made me feel when I tried it, and the headache when I continued. I'll stick with beer and an occasional rum.

Understood--but for millions of potential gun owners in many states it is an actual barrier to lawful purchase which, as I said, disproportionately affects American veterans. I appreciate your personal point of view and efforts, but this should not be a side issue. For example, this affects far, far more people than fucking bump stocks or even braces. It needs to be fought, not excused away--and such a fight would give cover to the idiotic Republicans who are largely responsible for keeping this federal scheduling in place. As an aside, this is another issue Trump blew--it could have been his "Nixon to China" moment, but that was beyond his imagination.

I never got a headache, but I sure puked many times from drinking. And that’s legal. If you smoke too much, you don’t get higher, but if you drink too much, well we all know what happens. In my whole life, maybe 3 times I got a great buzz without getting sick. Most of the time I drank too much, & puked, or didn’t drink enough, & wished I had weed instead. But now, the old lady down the street cooks great cookies, & after eating 1/3 of a cookie, I feel great the whole day. And no headache, or puking. GARY.

Anybody who understood what LIBERTY was, I say was because it doesn't exist anymore thanks to fudds like Reagan... Just like the 2A, it doesn't really exist anymore either. :(

Reagan NEVER hunted hog or coyote. Reagan was also never the victim of home invasion... F*CK REAGAN!

Reagan was no prize. He got in because the alternatives were worse.

That's a lot of coat hangers

Yeah Regan was not as great as everyone thought he was. But still better than this ROGUE EXTREMISTS FACTION of OUR GOVERNMENT that's attempting a political coup of our government and trashing the CONSTITUTION and the BILL OF RIGHTS.

Let me rephrase that last line. The ROGUE EXTREMISTS FACTION of OUR GOVERNMENT that pulled a political coup of our government and who is right now destroying our nation

America has reached a point of no compromise. Unfortunately situations like this end in only one way.

The in your face corruption of our last election was a travisity and slap in the face of every AMERICAN who voted. That fool who seized power by means of fraud even admitted during the election on national TV that this election was rigged or fixed, can't remember exactly how this idoit phased it. Yet the socialist left wing extremist NEWS network's of America just ignored it.
