One thing bothers me about the books.

He only owns one set of clothes.

When they get funky, he just goes and buys new stuff and trashes the old.

When he was in Key West, he took a job digging swimming pools by hand, and when the opportunity for some female action came along, he walked off the job and went straight to meet her.

So he shows up wearing clothes that he's worn for days, not to mention 8 hours in the hot sun digging a pool with no mention at all of a shower, and he gets laid!

this version on Prime is light years better and more accurate than the Tom Cruise movie. Lee Child of course, is a lefty brit writer with little or no real knowledge of America. That shows up in his books, and the last couple were unreadable and over the top with silly crap

And he supports Aston Villa —uses players’ name for some of his characters. Aston Villa’s even worse than my bloody Tottenham, and that says it all!

Finally got around to watching a few episodes because of all of the comments. Great show and the wife likes it too
