Now that is nice, I did not know of this style of 8mm before. (Gosh the early 1900s was a glorious time for Spanish arms..)

All that 8mm glory...
My dad ended up gifting me that FN49 as an early birthday present. Going to try to find some commercial/new 8mm ammo to take it out shooting. Havent shot any of the semi auto's yet because I really don't want to clean the corrosive surplus mess out of the gas systems, especially the Hakim.
Nice collection, that Hakim will eject the brass 20 to 30 feet away. Watch out for Garand thumb when working on it.
Thanks indy1919a4 for the info on the Spanish arms website. Now to translate it.

You know you should not be afraid of cleaning your Fn49 & Hakim after shooting corrosive ammo. They were meant for corrosive ammo. There are ways to clean them.
Ha ha but that being said, I am with you, I never have shot mine with corrosive ammo also for the same reason . Can you find any out there??? Dang the commercial 8mm has been real tough to find over the last year.
Any chance of seeing the crests on those rifles??

Which ones? I think one was scrubbed, one of the K98k's was a Yugo capture and has the Yugo crest I think
