Had A Visitor This Morning!

Post by TC6969 »

Biggest one I've ever seen!

Just to give you an idea how big he is, the light post he's standing on is 6"X6".

I thought it was an immature wild turkey until I got close.

Wings!

Just kidding, they are beautiful birds and I enjoy watching them when we can. Always take a moment to enjoy what nature is displaying. You never know when you will no longer get to see them.

In the 90's I lived in Valkaria and did a morning bike ride everyday. There was an Osprey nest down the street and I got very good at mimicking their voice and would stop and have long back and forth conversations with them.
I swear they actually thought I was speaking Osprey.
I also had 2 stocked ponds on my property and they would sometimes "dine" at my restaurant as did some of the biggest bald eagles I ever saw

As much as I appreciated that property and having my personal gun range (up to 200 yards) the best part was getting so close to so many different wildlife

I get a visit of the local wild life every morning here in da' hood in Mosquito County. :o

Once a Sprawlmart moves in, they supply the best shopping carts to the wildlife around here.
