Naked Guy Climbing On Tractor-Trailer Disrupts I-75 Traffic: Sheriff
A naked man wandering down I-75 in Sarasota Thursday afternoon climbed a truck and disrupted traffic on the highway, authorities said.
SARASOTA, FL — A naked man walking down the highway and climbing a tractor-trailer truck disrupted I-75 traffic in Sarasota Thursday afternoon, authorities said.
A Facebook post by an administrator in the Sarasota Traffic Facebook group indicated the incident happened in the southbound lanes near the Fruitville Road exit.
Deputies responding to calls about the naked man took him into protective custody without incident and brought him to a nearby hospital for a mental health evaluation, Doug Jones, creative communications specialist for the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office, told Patch.
"While we don’t know what may have precipitated this man’s actions, it’s apparent that he was exhibiting abnormal behavior,” he said. “This was a very dangerous situation for the man and the motorists traveling the interstate at that time. We’re thankful we were able to resolve the situation safely.”

As a Florida Native, I've seen this trend for many years but on the bright side, it's why the Ft. Lauderdale Strip was so much fun back in the 70's & 80's.
