I went to one theme/amusement park once. The beer park zoo in Tampa back when they gave beer samples
Theme/amusement are boring like ocean cruises.

I would much rather go on a cruise. Planning one of for next year. Either Alaskan or Eastern Caribbean. Provided they don't require the death jab. That would be a deal breaker.

Have never cruised, but Alaska sounds nice (took a ferry in BC before and that alone was awesome).Deputydave wrote: ↑Sun Oct 30, 2022 1:55 pm I would much rather go on a cruise. I've been on quite a few cruises over the years and have thoroughly enjoyed them. All kinds of food 24/7 from main dining to buffets to all night pizza etc. The entertainment has been good, musicals, comedians, game shows etc. What I like is there is always something going on or you can simply chill out and do nothing at all and simply relax. Piano lounges, night clubs, dancing, the casino if you like or simply watch the ocean.tector wrote: ↑Sun Oct 30, 2022 2:04 pmHave never cruised, but Alaska sounds nice (took a ferry in BC before and that alone was awesome).Deputydave wrote: ↑Sun Oct 30, 2022 1:55 pm I would much rather go on a cruise. I've found them to be quite relaxing. I always recommend starting with a short one, maybe a 3 day cruise. That way you can judge if you like them well enough for a longer one. I usually go on a 5 day but would like to try one of the 7 or 8 day cruises.

We've also been on a bunch of cruises. Have 2 more booked. Prefer the 7-10 day cruises. Been on short ones and one for 12 days. All enjoyable. We Always book balcony cabins. Relaxing there with a margarita (and a drink) watching the sunset is great!
