Springfield Armory Prodigy 1911

Post by Spikes40 »

Has anyone handled the SA prodigy 1911 9mm yet? Looks like a nice pistol... msrp at about $1500 but i guess not terrible if it is a quality 1911.

** update **

I have rented one and ultimately wound up taking it home… really like it so far!

Hey Adam, if you ever get to try one out, let me know. I was thinking of a Staccato but when I heard about the gun, I was thinking maybe for a grand or so less, it might be worth a shot. It does look nice but something about the slide serations seem a little less "finished" but I like the way they did the flush mount slide stop. The other Springfield I am interested in is the SA-35.
