For men of a certain age (we have a few such here), she was it.

Also did USO shows in Vietnam, God bless her.

When in elementary school, I brought a pic of her in a skimpy bathing suit to class. Teacher said it was obscene, took it and called my parents. I was bummed, mom was mad and dad laughed.

Oddly enough, the first move in which I saw her featured was "Fantastic Voyage" where she played a scientist. Never appeared in a bikini but looked cool in SCUBA gear.

Well, she sure had quite a set of aqua lungs!

I remember her in the movie Mother, Jugs and Speed. Despite being a sex symbol, I always thought of her as classy, and not your average bimbo.
