I love the idea of van life. It can get expensive for those that want the full conversion. I have my truck and bought a shell just so I can do this a few times a year alone with my son and pull the boat behind. Or when I go hunting for a couple days alone. I have a 2800 inverter with a 5k btu ac and a couple of cheap bed racks that I can pop open and sleep. It's a very simple idea. Show us pictures of your setup.

I have thought of the possibility of doing the van life at retirementalso. My concern has always been showering and dumping the Grey and black water, where? I know alot of people use the gyms like planet fitness. But that still doesn't make 100% comfortable.
