Big Mike has said, continuously that she "doesn't want it." But that could be a huge "head fake." After all, we thought FJB would never quit the race. We'll see what happens, but I think Big Mike will get the push (especially from Barak) to run "for the good of the Party/Movement." MRS Obama will be the Candidate.
I think a major stumbling block is exactly the replacement issue. It would be nearly impossible to bypass Kamala, but I don't think she wants it right now and is resisting. She knows that if she takes over at this point she goes into the race wounded and her small chances of winning become even more remote. Losing badly will nix any chance she has to ever come back politically, and she actually thinks she may have a chance later down the road. She probably wants to ride it out as best as possible while minimizing her damage to try to come back at another cycle while claiming to have been the loyal party member who was trying her best while being dragged down by the head of her ticket.
