You can use your Presidential vote to send any message you want. This Florida is not 2000 Florida, fortunately. Or 2008 and 2012 Florida, where Obama won both times.

You can't control or predict with 100% certainty if your vote will affect anything due to whatever reasons.

But you can control going and voting for the best available candidate regardless of predicted outcomes.

Establishment will be happy if you sit this one out, because you think they will cheat. They will be happy if you cast the vote for them. And they also will be happy if you vote for 3 rd party candidate (they will laugh at your message btw). They won't be happy if you vote against them.

Choice is yours to make!
I can absolutely predict the result in over 30 states. Anyone who can't is a moron.

If Donald Trump found some way to be genuinely in peril in Florida, he's done anyway, because he is going to lose his ass in several states that are absolutely essential to him.

Florida is not a battleground state in 2024. The Harris campaign has spent basically nothing here for that reason. The only TV ads for her down here are national. She's only come here to grab money from rich liberals (and Trump has come to only to grab money from rich "conservatives.") Maybe you know better than both of them.

It does not matter if you are right or wrong in your predictions, if we are in a battleground state or not, or what the odds are. That is my point - one shall do the right thing regardless.

Anyway, good luck with the "message"! :D

The "wasted vote" bullshit is the last resort of idiots. People who will vote for any trash based on an R or D, particularly when their vote is utterly irrelevant, as in this case, are true saps. They can be taken for granted over and over and over. Among other things, this is why the FL GOP is garbage on gun rights: you continue to gobble any shit candidate they feed you. You are, essentially, like blacks are to Dems: useful idiots.

Now, the FL Senate race may be close enough that you want to "tactically vote." Fine, I understand that. But it is not the case for POTUS. If it ever becomes the case that FL or Texas are not reliable GOP states for POTUS you can safely move on from the farce of democracy completely. That phase of the US will be completely over, and you can prepare for the next phase.

Name calling does not bother me, but just wondering what made you so upset? Was it a realization that your "message" was/will be meaningless?

Have a good night, and don't forget to vote tomorrow! :D

GTFO with your purity test BS. Go ahead and list for us all the good DT has done for the 2A, I'll wait. All I seem to recall was a bump stack ban that was subsequently ruled unconstitutional.

Given Trump's latest salvos against DeSantis as some sort of sexual predator, that's it--I have reached the breaking point with this disgusting fuckstain. I would rather just go full acclerationalist and vote Dem (and I don't care whom) than support this repulsive piece of shit in any way. It can all burn down before I support him in any way.

And if you disagree, fuck you in advance, too. You, and those like you, are ultimately the problem. You're the enablers of this shitbag.

Now, back to your regularly scheduled programming....
Hi Tector!
You are a smart man, and I respect and agree with a lot of what you have said on this forum throughout the years. But... I did vote for Trump this time around. I'm not thrilled about it, nor did I vote for him because of his virtues. I simply cannot afford Haris nor accelrationalism... I have children and my son will be eligible for the draft in 2 years... and this was what primarily guided my decision: doing what I can to protect my kids
Yes it does make me an enabler of Trump and I'm ok with that. The alternative is unacceptable to me.

I hope we can still be friends :D

Take care,

I wound up voting for Jill Stein, since it makes Dems heads explode (like Nader did in 2000) and it signals them there are more votes they can pick up by moving further leftwards (which, of course, is completely wrong). But I don't think she wound up mattering in the outcome of any state (it was obvious she would not matter in Florida, which is what allowed such a vote).

Rick Scott did pretty well considering he's a terrible candidate.

I haven't gone through them all, but it looks like the Libertarian Senate candidate in Michigan probably cost the GOP that seat, at least on the last numbers I looked at.
