Trump's first term was a learning one! Can't blame him for NOT knowing what a career political scumbag knows! THAT'S why he was elected TWICE and he's learned a bit since then! As far as the "bump stock ban", yeah wasn't happy with that, but it got overturned! Trump wasn't.......and isn't a "gun guy"! Hasn't done anything detrimental since and I believe we'll get some pro gun rulings with his new administration! It gets old hearing "golly gee, Im a life long republican, but I just can't bring myself to vote for Trump because I didn't like what he said or how he acted or he voted against this ONE thing" or WHATEVER THE FOOK your issue is! He's gonna go down as one of the best Presidents we've ever had!
Trump's sons *are* gun guys, though. Both Don Jr and Eric. I don't think they'll have a problem there. The biggest problem will be fighting "the swamp" over gun rights. They play a long game and they won't ever stop. Because they know that's the only way they can control the public... ie. disarm them. This is what Team Trump will have to overcome.
