3 PBSO motor officers killed yesterday

An investigation is underway after two deputies were killed and one was hospitalized following a crash Thursday morning in western Palm Beach County.

A high-ranking source with the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office told WPBF that the motor deputies were hit while conducting traffic enforcement on Southern Boulevard near Seminole Pratt Whitney Boulevard.

Happened a few miles west of me. One cop’s bike needed a jump, so he was waiting in the grass on the side of the road. 2 more motormen showed up to wait with their buddy. A gal from PA was driving east on Southern Blvd, [SR80] and to avoid rear ending the vehicle in front of her, she swerved to the right onto the grass. The vehicle started to spin to the right, so the front of her vehicle hit the fence, & the driver’s side bowls over the cops, & motorcycles. She was not charged yet, but I hope she is. They were flown to St. Mary’s hospital, but it was too late. There was a huge procession from the hospital to the ME’s office. Very sad. GARY

Its actually two that were killed- Dan is in critical but stable condition in the ICU and we are all praying for him. Sucks, I know all of those guys. I hate going to LE funerals.
