And I thought I was the only one who couldn't stand the guy. It never felt like he wanted to be a Sherriff, but like being called one. Marrying into the DeBartolo family (yes THAT DeBartolo family) with all those trappings seemed to occupy his mind the most. I can't stand Judd either, but at least he doesn't act like being Sheriff is a part time inconvenience. Other things like, plastering his name all over everything Hillsborough County Sheriff Office related, in fonts larger than the agency title is a bad look. He spent millions to do it when he got into office. With the growth of the department, it will take many millions to cover/change everything to the next douchebag.
