Good luck and best wishes.

WTF Man??? What a crazy thing to have happen?
Rummaging through the "bargain box" at a gun shop shouldn't be a life altering experience.
Kudos to you for telling all this with a positive attitude!!!
Hoping you have a speedy recovery and get a sweet left handed bolt action rifle as a small compensation.

This is awful. I'm glad you made it through OK, but Wow. Please take it easy. You have a lot of things going on right now. Getting back to shooting should be pretty low priority for now.

Wow, that is an amazing event in the worst way and yet you are finding a way to make me feel like a woos.

Totally ruins my complaint about that paper cut.

Seriously, we really do allow ourselves to be upset over nothing and your episode puts things into perspective.

I do hope for a near as can be 100% recovery and you continue to find ways to enjoy your life.

Will after seeing the eye some today I can say it is most likely gone. So now I see a bunch of Dr's and nurses over the next few days. This promises to be a blast. I guess we all get handed things to deal with c but to whomever is in charge, seriously I have had my share. I could use a break for a while. Be careful out. While this was nothing more than a tragic event it has made me aware of my age and condition. Watch for fire sale most likely coming soon. They are not doing me any good now. I will have some stuff together by the weekend to list amd clear out. Having been on here for a long time as I have you guys will get first shot. No worries as i will keep enough to protect the family and i of course. Be safe and arnd warm folks

Age and circumstances come for us all eventually. Although I still have my vision, I feel like I know what you're going through; to have your life permanently altered in a second has been a tough pill for me to swallow as I'm sure it is for you too. All I can possibly add is to wake up every day and at least hang on for the ride.

I am trying to concentrate on making everyone smile at least once a day. That has always helped me carry on through the decades. But lately it seems people are just to uptight. It helped at the hospital though with the nurses. Humor is great and it seems to make them have a better shift.
