Question for folks posting inthe B/S/T Firearms Section/

Post by charliedwsr »

Greetings :D

How do you avoid the "engaged in business" Biden Law/Rule?

I belong to the Virginia Citizens Defense League and am shielded from that law/rule.

What about everyone else?

Thanks!

I'm not sweating it at all. I'm not in the gun business. If they ever tried to pop me, a 5 second look at my buy/sell history would prove me to be the worst business person ever. My buy/sell ratio is 50:1 and what I have sold, I've lost money on mostly.

Holy heck, Rev - good to see you still here!

"Engaged in business" excludes buying and selling for the purpose of increasing/decreasing one's personal collection.

Don't set up a weekly booth at the flea market. Do your B/S/T here. You're good.
....and some rin up hill and down dale, knapping the chucky stanes to pieces wi' hammers, like sae mony road-makers run daft - they say it is to see how the warld was made!

The BST forums pretty much lost all appeal for me. Mods are too harsh on it. There’s much better ways to BST. In my opinion it’s part of what’s led to the forum slowly dying. Over moderation takes the fun out of it and people look elsewhere to bide their time.

Agreed. The classifieds is the biggest draw for the forum. People participate in other features but typically thats the main attractant on forums like this.

I remember getting a PM from a mod about a typo in my ad telling me to change it or it would be deleted. Went to fix it to their sacred format, and lo and behold, it was deleted already...
