Working fine. here is what needed to be replaced and how I arrived at working fine.
Bad:
Power supply unit
CPU
Mother Board
Bought 2 used exact copy MBs
Bought 3 CPUs one a 6000 like mine
Bought new 700W PSU
Installed one of the MBs (other had not arrived)
One CPU arrived damaged (poor packing) row of pins bent
One CPU would start Original SSD but would not go past set up and freeze. With new SSD it would start XP load but go to dreaded blue screen.
6000 arrived. This was unopened damaged box (a bargain $27,00 delivered) and had a new fan/cooler.
Fired up original SSD OS fine just had to reset the boot sequence nothing more.
Next same model MB arrived. I installed the 6000 CPU in that and hooked it up and it runs perfectly.
So, I have 2 good MBs and will look for 1-2 CPUs hopefully AM2+ 6000 3.2GHZ
The deductive process was much harder because so many (3) components had failed and pulling one at a time did not work. I had to pull everything and build one at a time the opposite of usual.
Now that it is running I also realize it was in a failure mode for some time as it now starts much faster and loads programs faster.
That is my story, tell your children not to do what I have done
