Florida Prosecutors file suit to declare SYG unconstitutional
The Florida League of Prosecutors wants SYG declared unconstitutional.
They don't like it because it makes them try cases they might not win. Prosecutors only try cases they can't lose, so they can point to their records. They also like to force people into pleas. They don't like SYG because they aren't guaranteed a win.

If you don't like your job then get one you do like. SYG is not about you having to do business as usual, its about regular guys who get into bad situations not on their own accord. Screw this crap.
I guess the "censor daemon" didn't like my post. It won't let me post it.
Sounds like we need new prosecutors.

Here’s another example of how useless voting actually is.
Politically expedient changes in the law are de rigueur for the judicial system.
Voters aren’t ever in the loop.

And who appoints the judges? Or were you asleep during the Kavanaugh hearings?dammitgriff wrote: ↑Wed Oct 31, 2018 8:38 pm Here’s another example of how useless voting actually is.

Yeah...about those judges...I think we’ve all been asleep for over a hundred years. Whose idea was it to let the government interpret the supreme law of the land, the U.S. Constitution, anyway? How’s that been working out for Americans since 1862?jjk308 wrote:And who appoints the judges?
