While one can say "Let the man rest in peace", at least let's not gush over him. I didn't care for him, nor was I a Reagan fanboy. They got elected because the alternatives were worse. But, they did no favors for freedom. Looking back, the tightening of the screws was effective, with a sly smile. So, let the dead go to rest, but don't show all sorts of adulation on TV. Or, perhaps that's what the subversive sorts now want to honor.
