Looks like my Sunday plans just changed to going to the gun show......
Heck yeah! That's good news about two hangars and 500 tables!
And hopefully more than one food vendor? Last time my son and I waited almost 40 minutes for lunch from the single food truck.
There will be 3 food trucks plus a snack truck.
Also 2 ATM's, one at each hanger.

If you did not go to this Lakeland show, You didn't miss anything. Not a big crowd. It was held in two hangers but I counted over 20 tables vacant between the two buildings. There was no A/C and the hefty people were sweating profusely, both exhibitors and customers alike. Prices were through the roof and I did not see a bunch of cash exchanging hands. I made two rounds of the first building and one in the second building and I was out of there by 11:30am. The second building contained a bunch of flea market junk and jerky, so there was no reason to make more than one round of the second building.
I went to get some new factory Colt boxes for a few of my vintage Colts and the vendor that had them at the Lakeland Center was there so I got what I needed from him and headed home.

I had a completely different experience. No Shoot Straight at all, a big plus. Close to 500 tables with maybe 300 vendors. Anything you need for any firearm available. Wide aisles and very few jazzies. Been going to this show for maybe 30 years and this was as close to "the way it was" in a long time. No, there weren't acres of Glocks/ AR's and the decision to open the doors instead of running the air was not good. But if you need that correct bayonet for your 1893 Argentine Mauser it was there. Eat somewhere else. Fuzzy's Taco shop on S Florida Ave was great. Joe
Keep Today Fresh
I only bought some handloading supplies, didn't sell or buy anything. They got the AC going in the first hangar but it was a little warm in the second. All in all--It was the best show that I've been to in quite some time. I haven't gone to any of the ones at the civic center in many years. This was a lot better than the last one at this location in my opinion.
As far as prices--just as high as any of the other shows.
As far as traffic---never fails---there's always a backup on I4 heading east for me on the way home.

Went Saturday from 10-12ish. Saw a LOT of stuff I wish I could buy (some very nice Garands for one).
This is the only show I attend anymore....don't care for the traveling Shoot-Straight shows.
