Let's back things up a bit before we get too far down the track... George Zimmerman was a neighborhood watch member who saw something that he thought was suspicious and reported it to police. Police did not seem too interested, or in a hurry to respond (similar to the more than 100 other events reported), so George pursued. Who he was pursuing was someone who was supposed to be there, heading back from the convenience store- not really suspicious, just a dude. Somehow they got together, and there was a fight. Based on the injuries suffered by George, it appeared that he was in danger of death. A jury decided that the pursuit and whatever happened prior to the engagement was not
sufficient to eliminate self defense as a defense for the altercation and resulting firearm use.
Now we get to who he is suing... Everyone. Well, the case was definitely 'tried' by the media well before it was taken to court. And his ability to effectively earn a living has been trampled on because of the politicization of this case. Not saying it is right, or he should win, but it's tough to take your freedom and move to a mountain paradise far away sipping Manhattan's when you started with one nickel unable to find a second to rub against it, then you end up with an ex wife, legal bills, medical bills, constant threats against you, and no method to earn a living (besides doing personal appearances at gun shows- until the bad press shuts that down, and selling 'the evidence gun' for horrendous sums).
I do wish his could stop making himself a spectacle, but I at least can understand it.
How else is he going to make money? Realistically.305tillimoved wrote: ↑Tue Dec 10, 2019 7:55 pm Doing everything he can to stay in the limelight and profit from this shit show.

Sure, until his potential employer does a background check and then shows the same amount of bias you do because the court of public opinion found him guilty before he ever got a fair trial.305tillimoved wrote: ↑Tue Dec 10, 2019 8:50 pmWe live in the 21s century.
