I would love to buy a new toy but my local shops don't have anything I want. The shelves are sparse. My money dropped on the first. Which was odd because I did not think direct deposit happened on federal holidays

Follow this link to hear directly from the IRS when the payments should be here. Looks like the registration date is 01/04/2021 but it could be happening earlier for some. Knowing my bank they probably already have it but delaying the credit so they can "kite" it and make more interest.... Ugghhh.
UPDATE: As I suspected, my bank was "kiting." Mine was received this morning, dated today (01/04).
