There was an open partial 1 pound container at the Ocola show. Other then that there was not a ton of reloading items there.

Thanks for the IMR 4227 WPB tip!
I did more reading, and am going to try some other powders for my first 300 Blackout loads.
I’ll try again for the 4227 another day, it will be a while before I am ready to shoot.
The SBR will have a 10.5” barrel and a home-built suppressor.
I received the Form-1 stamp for the suppressor, the SBR stamp may show up in a month or two.
Going to try 220 grain projectiles, as I have read that when loaded for sub-sonic, very quiet through a can.
Bought Vihta Vuori N120 and Accurate 1680 to try first.

I found some Hodgdon HS-6 that I hope will replace Clays as my go to pistol powder.
A pound of that and 1000 federal small pistol primers set me back $190.
Another
was checking out the price of two guns I priced last week at the Tampa Shoot Straight.
I hoped to get a gun show deal on one or both, but they were both exactly $100 more than store price!
I sure pays to do ones research!

I am amazed how many small amount gun dealers can compete in the new gun field.. Many times they have to pay more then some of the big stores can sell them at.. Its a tough racket..

I went to Palm Beach yesterday and was unimpressed. I saw a few guns I liked, but the prices were just plain stupid. The wife bought hot sauce and some dry rub and thats it. The best table is probably the guy that sells goat leather bags...those things are really nice.

HS-6 and Clays are on the opposite end of loading data
Clays burn very fast getting low velocities for high pressure but use less powder getting more rounds per pound
HS-6 uses more powder getting very high velocities for reaching higher pressures meaning HS-6 is particularly good for duplicating the feel and performance of factory SD ammo.
WSF, Longshot, Power Pistol and the Vit powders are also great for duplicating factory velocities and similar recoil feel
You will like HS-6 and should consider switching to this type of powder (IMO)

I did not see any of the gun powder in question at the Tallahassee show,, But I showed up on Sunday.. The Tallahassee show was bigger but the Ocala show had some exotic guns there that were cool.

Saturday's O-Show had whole aisles to disregard due to lack of guns. Lotsa ammo if'n you were willing to pay. Prices were almost identical at the 01 FFL's that were about half # of the last show. Spent a great morning with 2 old buds, didn't spend a dime. Joe
