I wish I could do a postie. Would have saved me $400 on it.
Its half MK2, half MK5. I thought as a pistol, the MK5 was better in the back. MK2 parts were cheaper so I subbed those in where I could.
Not entirely sure what needs to be done to the magazine, but I've read that they can modified for 7.62x25 Tokarev, and TOK barrels are available so swapping between 9mm and TOK should just take a barrel swap and magazine mods. Seemed neat.
Still gotta figure out what I'm going to use for a front sight, and clean up the welds. Was actually considering trying to put a small section of rail on it, for a red dot.

Rent is the man when it comes to his reproduction guns. I wished I lived closer to him. I really like his store and having lunch with him.

Getting towards the bottom of the old AK parts bin. Need a few odds and ends, but looks like enough for another rifle. Should make a decent shooter.

Do you still have this parts kit?
If you have a chance, can you take the dimensions of the length, width and height of the bolt?
Thank you

I do not, I got out of building them, but I do have a few functioning UZI's on hand here. I can measure in the AM
If you need to borrow a Semi bolt to copy for a build just let me know, the firing pin is a bitch to drill...if you go that route I'd anneal it first.
I was thinking about if I can use the steel receiver and lower from I high end airsoft clone to build a 9mm L85 using uzi and Ar parts
I was curious if the bolt would fit inside before I buy parts

Sorry they are rough and I don't have a mic, my camera kinda sucks (old phone) but this should give you a rough idea.
and some random UZI porn;
Neat idea on using the airsoft as a body. I had a airsoft MP5 with a Ruger 10/22 jammed inside of it, was neat. I have a PPSH-43 here I welded it up and planned to try to fit a .22 rifle inside for a cheap WW2 plinker.
