This doesn't really surprise me (I know we're going off on a tangent) but in all reality, you won't find 100 people at a NASCAR race who actually look at the ads in a program. I will give them props for "allowing" Henry to sponsor a car in yesterday's Xfinity race (and it got significant tv time as it's a frontrunning car) as well as the Bristol night race is sponsored by the NRA as well as Bass Pro (although if you watched it the tv announcers mentioned the NRA a total of zero times).
NASCAR is a paper tiger. It's like when they requested fans not fly Confederate flags. They were never banned, it was just a request and you still see them proudly flying at the races and no one is being made to take them down. NASCAR's mistake is that they've tried too hard to be all things to all people in the name of growth and I think it's backfired on them.
