Regardless of one's adherence to the flag code, the idea that the police stands for the flag, the constitution or this country is simply laughable.
I'm all for law enforcement, however....

Agree with gunny about the flag.
Do not agree that it unifies American citizens today (take a look around, our country is pulling itself apart politically and culturally).
To many around the world, it has become a symbol of an overreaching empire.
The problem with wrapping ourselves in the flag is we’re at risk of tripping over it.
