Don't poo-poo Timex...they've been upping their game lately:

Timex is a good watch, always has been. Nice to see them making some classy looks, too.

Why did you remove the cyclops? This one is on my list...

No poopoo on timex, those are all I've ever owned,LOL
Three can keep a secret.......if two are Dead !
Just a matter of personal preference. The Rolex I USED to have was a no date Sub, 124060. I also like the Deepsea which is a no cyclops model. I just have no desire to put that much $$ into a watch anymore.Tenzing_Norgay wrote: ↑Tue Jul 12, 2022 9:02 pmWhy did you remove the cyclops? This one is on my list...
Honestly, you can't go wrong with or without, they look great either way.
BTW, do go for the ceramic bezel, worth the extra price vs aluminum.
I bought mine from Gnomon. No VAT type taxes or currency conversions.
Post it when you get it!
I have a new Tudor heritage chronograph gold/stainless .... The Rolex Hulk is on my want list
I've had that same watch (in 42mm) for a couple of years now - nice piece and, a good value IMHO.

I have two Omega's and two Rolex watches. Simple collection.
Formerly Fireman1291
My daily wear is an air king that looks like this https://www.jomashop.com/rolex-watch-116900bkao.html
In the past had a Datejust Gold / SS and a No date Sub. Got tired of repairing them, they don't take abuse very well.Jimmy wrote: ↑Mon Jul 11, 2022 10:44 am I have owned several Rolex watches. They always spent more time in the safe than on my wrist. Fortunately, I was always able to get (close to) my investment back. Rolex watches are good for that. The current market, especially the grey market is fucking out of control although it's starting to correct.
If you like the look of the Rolex sport watches and don't mind being called a poser by the Rolex purists, then consider a Steinhart. Excellent quality and automatic watch movements. Keeps time as good or better than any Rolex.
Here's my daily wear. 42mm Ocean GMT with a cyclops delete option. Jubilee style bracelet. It's a black dial, photo color looks different.
Been having great luck with a Seiko 009 Automatic. Really durable.
But my next watch will be a Stein.
