First, since when does any politician know anything about anything?

My brother was invited into the White House to discuss terrorism insurance on loans and real estate under Bush Jr. after 9/11.
He was in the oval office with Bush, some advisors and politicians to give them an education on the subject. He said no one in the room except Bush got any basic concept of what he said even though they passed legislation later.
Politicans depend on special interest groups lobbyists to tell them what to do.

I would say Paul is about the most intelligent one out there.
