If you're in the area, try Jeff Bootz at the B&A flea market. He charges $25 and the only thing he won't do is take a transfer from a non licensee.
J Bootz And Son Gunsmithing

I haven't had any problems at Lotus, but they're relatively new in town, and it seems a little fancy.
Yes, I've been in there a few times. Didn't realize he did transfers. Thx.

When I walked in to Lotus for the first time, I was impressed...Wow! Nice place, no Bubba's behind the counter, nice selection...I'm gonna like it here!
That was until the condescending, smug, spiteful, rug-munching, Big Bird-looking beotch at the customer "service" counter (Lindsey the shoplifter) opened her gaping pie-hole, then recruited her little butt-boy (Rob, the shaved-head Choade) to screw with me and my transfer, I realized all was not well in paradise.

Found a new/great FFL in the Treasure Coast area for those similarly situated:
St. Lucie Jewelry and Pawn
1100 NE Jensen Beach Blvd, Jensen Beach, FL 34957
Phone: (772) 232-6377
Two older guys, very friendly. $10 transfers(!). I was in/out in 7 minutes.
They have a decent selection of new/used guns on display. Also advertise as gunsmiths...haven't seen their work yet, however.
Night and day over the douche-flutes @ Lotus Gunworks.
