Notice how many member have not returned after the recent crash of FSN?
Too much drama?
Long threads containing nothing?
Too much doom & gloom?
I posted a thread a few weeks back about a small company who gave all of their staff (78) a handgun with training if they wanted.
One member stated, "Finally, a thread about something positive."

I think after the 2 nukes that dropped it really did a number to this place. Hopeful that it will pick back up.

When the crash happened, there was really no way to find out except if you were on other gun forums. Since I'm only on a couple others and there would be no reason for FSN to be brought up on them, I had to google. I didn't realize what had happened until I saw it on an Arfcom thread, which is one of the forums I don't have an account on.

I look at it this way
its the same as worrying about people you invited to a party, but didn't show up ....who cares about them
If you're too busy for FSN, or didn't visit that often, you might not have logged on since before the crash, never knew it crashed except you can't log in, and too busy or don't care to rejoin
I'll be honest and say pornhub got my money while this store was closed, maybe others went to other gun forums or facebook...bottom line who cares

I think the members list had a lot of inactive names on it.
People who died.
People who had just signed up in the first place for BST. (We have a few now BTW.)
People who moved away and just forgot about FSN.
People who never were really that interested in guns in the first place and moved on to another hobby.
People who were lurkers who signed up just to comment or ask a question on one thread and then went back to lurking.
People who thought they could replace a desk top computer with a phone and decided posting was too much trouble.
People who were in a computer friendly situation and then weren't due to divorce, death, house fire, hurricane, incarceration, whatever and just dont use them much anymore.
People who came to FSN shoots and were traumatized by Rents "Initiation" behind the equipment shed.
The list goes on and on.
You cant lose members that you really didn't have in the first place.

That's part of the problem too.
He could have decided to come back as Steve590A1 or something and be reading this post right now.
ETA: Maybe he's T-3!
