Capitalism
A Capitalist versus a Socialist ~
A guy looked at my Corvette the other day and said, "I wonder how many people could have been fed for the money that sports car cost.â€
I replied I am not sure.
It fed a lot of families in Bowling Green, Kentucky who built it,it fed the people who make the tires,
it fed the people who made the components that went into it,
it fed the people in the copper mine who mined the copper for the wires,
it fed people in Decatur Illinois at Caterpillar who make the trucks that haul the copper ore,
It fed the trucking people who hauled it from the plant to the dealer …
and fed the people working at the dealership and their families.
BUT ... I have to admit, I guess I really don’t know how many people it fed. That is the difference between capitalism and welfare mentality. When you buy something, you put money in people’s pockets and give them dignity for their skills. When you give someone something for nothing, you rob them of their dignity and self-worth.
Capitalism is freely giving your money in exchange for something of value.
Socialism is taking your money against your will and shoving something down your throat that you never asked for.

Spot on!
Whatever logic you present mean nothing to the brainwashed Zombie Libiturds. You see, they were brainwashed by the Pubic Schools, the Universities, and the participation trophy always feel good parents for the last 40 years.
I saw a clip on the news where Como was complaining that all the rich were leaving NY and all the other high tax libitard states. He complained that it was a PLOT by conservatives to ruin NY and leave him only with the poor to tax. Friggin Moron! What he did not point out is the influx of the brain dead Libiturds here to Florida and other formally "free" states floods our Gooberment offices with elected commie/socialists here!!!

Ah that's one thing about our Flame, doesn't play any favorites! Flame hates everybody!
Socialism is the exploitation of men by men. Capitalism in the opposite.

I have to agree with Flame Red and it's tragic.
I don't see how capitalism and liberty can stand against the brainwashing of our youth, it's too late now I'm afraid.
Be it two or six years till Trump leaves office, that might be the day not being ashamed of America dies.
I think Trump will win in two years then I predict Beto next as he seems to have the charisma of JFK.

Nick I am afraid you may be correct. The way the far left is heading it’s pulling the Democratic Party so far over there may be no return within the near future. The schools and colleges are not teaching civics and critical thinking which is a major area that’s in dire need of our society. Something major is going to have to occur to wake up the masses. I thought Trump would succeed in this area but he is being fought at every level and the media is so complicit with the left his message is not getting out to the public as I would hope. Thankfully my time on this earth is not as long, but I fear for my grandkids and their children’s future and the nation.

All we can do is teach our kids to be free thinkers and show them how life is much better under a capitalistic society than a socialist regime.

Lots of good articles regarding capitalism and refuting socialism on the Mises.org website.
