New gun from Ruger they just announced and are already hitting the market.

Single action .22 similar to Single Six but with RETAIL PRICE of $249. They appear to be selling right under $200.

Yes, I saw that a few days ago. So you have no opinion one way or the other?

It looks like an excellent way to practice sixgun handling and shooting, without spending a lot of money.
A lot less than using a centerfire version, for sure.

I got one a few days ago. Silver finish but looks more grey. Simple handy little gun. Put about 60 rounds through it and no problems at all with it. I think they (Ruger) will sell a mess of them. A few are going at over retail on Gunbroker, but that won’t last. I want to pick up another one when I can get one at right price. I paid $196 for mine including shipping. Neat gun for that money.

They're advertising a CNC machined aluminum frame which should give Heritage a run for their money.

Not to mention no ridiculous thumb safety like a Heritage.

I'll probably buy one.

I expect Heritage sales will drop.
I also expect Ruger will bring out 22lr/22mag conversion version in future.

I wouldn't mind getting one of those.
