Need to replace my keyless entry remotes

Both of my keyless entry remotes for a 2010 Honda Pilot have bit the dust. One goes through batteries in less than a month and the other one doesn't work at all. Anyone have experience with a less expensive option than going through the dealership to get two new remotes and have them programmed to the vehicle?
Mine are the type that incorporate a traditional metal ignition/door key - they're not separate fobs.

After you get a new key, some lock smiths can cut and program it to the ECU much cheaper than a dealer.

Thanks - just placed my order w/ them, so hope to post a range report by the end of the week.
2 replacements for $40 shipped, comes with programming instructions and I can have them cut around the corner at ACE hardware.

Does that include doing that chip in the remote or key that you must have in the ignition to start your vehicle. I just got raped at the dealership getting a new remote with a key. I'd like another but not at those prices.

Many dealers want you to believe only they can program a key, and that’s where the raping begins. My wife needed an extra key, & had the blank cut, but refused to be raped. Two minutes on the internet showed if the original key that starts the car is inserted into the ign cyl, and a button on the dash is pushed, by inserting the new key in the ign cyl, it is then programmed to start the car. But the dealer will never tell you this. GARY.

This was just for two remotes, and setting them for my truck. Nothing new-tangled needed for a 97 f-150

Car dealers always want you to think they are the only one that can make keys and fobs, because they make insane profit on them. For instance a programmed and cut chip key at ace starts at 69.99 and they make sure it works before you buy it(most expensive i came across was 250.00 for one of the lexus/merc keys) that same key cost 189.00 at the dealer

I was in the NAPA store yesterday, getting some spark plugs for my bike... There was a display of about a dozen styles of keyless entry fobs on a card. I didn't pay much attention to them since I use my key, but at least one of them looked almost as complex as my flip phone while others only had a few buttons on them. I'd expect they could replace anything in current or recent use.
