Whelp, my LGS charges too much for ammo and Walmart is going to stop selling my cheap plinking ammo. Guess SGammo is gonna get all my business now.

It is Christmas in September for SG and a few others!

When Bass Pro has a sale they are OK.

This is a bad sign, however. The demonization of guns continues to spread.

So I guess you can buy .223 for your rifle but not for your pistol? Hmmmm...

Other reason why Walmart sucks.

The smart play is to get those yearly $80-90 deals with sites like brownells and targetsports that give you free shipping on every order for a year for ammo

Walmart (at least used to) ask you if you were buying .22LR for a handgun or a rifle. If you were under 21, they wouldn't sell it to you if you said it was for a handgun.
