"State senator from Orlando files legislation to ban high-capacity magazines"
A state senator from Orlando has filed legislation to ban high-capacity magazines.

Democrat Linda Stewart promised to do more after the Pulse massacre and the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.

Stewart has introduced a bill that would ban high-powered magazines.

The hope is that banning high-powered magazines would make it harder for mass shooters to fire so many rounds in such a short time.

Idiots that don't know what they're talking about are trying to push laws about those things they don't know what they're talking about. Oy vey.

It's going nowhere now. The real worry will be 2023 if a dumbo gets elected here in 2022. Sure, the feds can start nonsense if a dumbo is elected president next year, bringing in the whole congress with him/her/it, but it will take a long time to get it through the process and the objections, filing for injunctions, etc. However, if this state goes bad in 2022, then there's a problem. I've said it several times before in other threads: don't look at who won here in 2018, look at who lost and how close it was. A real creep - Gillum - would have turned the state upside down. All it would take is a few more boxes of "found" ballots in enough counties. Or, look at the stupid kids who will be eligible to vote next time; they're mindless but organized.

A lot of my target states, thinking as "just in case Florida goes blue", are already off the list because they went already, to such basic criminals (thinking Virginia). And others, the list is growing, and my short list is shrinking.
