Is the primer shortage really this bad? Are people really this desperate to get their hands on primers?

A guy on Armslist is selling 5,000 @ $125/1000, so, at 10000, it's close. That's nearly 4 times the "old" price.

Sounds mighty steep to me. Current pricing at market value seems to be about $50/1K. I just recently picked up 40K primers from a guy in Largo that closed a reloading business for $1320, I think I did alright. He had an ad on Gunbroker that another forum member here was kind enough to post a link to.

I am selling #34 and #41 for $100.00K (almost all sold now) and did also offer and sold some #500 SP for $100.00 but will not sell any more

If you see the primer size you need for $50.00 grab it. $50 is so last month and unless there is a change in supply I would not be surprised to see $200.00K

Just now (Sun 20 SEP, 11:45) spotted an ad on Armslist, someone located in Lakeland, selling SPP or SRP @ $75./1000. Who'da thunk we'd be passing info like this as if it were helpful. It's twice what it used to be, but then I used to be younger. So, there it goes.
