Apparently Mike Pence is positioning himself for a run in 2024:

A decent, thoughtful, articulate man with Trump-like and conservative policies, but no ugly tweets . . .
Pence 2024
I fear, though, he is too tainted with "religion" and may not survive that level of scruitiny. I'd love to see him run, but I don't know if he'd make it that far.
Sad to say, but whoever runs will be summarily defeated. The Demorats have figured out how to steal every election from here on out. Only Kommies will win. Effectively now a one Party race, just like the old Soviet Union. Right Komrad!
Ah that's one thing about our Flame, doesn't play any favorites! Flame hates everybody!

I don't think he is electable. Like Bernie, the percentage of the party that would support him would be the sum total of the votes he would get across the board in a general election.
Too tied to Trump for mainstream appeal. Too tied to religious right for mainstream appeal.
Honestly, too tied to all of those fly-on-head memes to survive a general election. VP is the highest he could achieve and that is just as the stoic, silent token warm body representing Christian conservatives, and he has already BTDT.
I think Paul Ryan is waiting for someone to ask him to run. His retirement looked pretty close to an orchestrated GOP insurance policy. He ticks a lot of the same boxes as Pence -they would both need a moderate conservative running mate.

Common Sense... so rare it's like a super power
Pence Vs Harris. 2024... lose lose
I think our Florida governor will be on the ticket if he can keep his nose clean.
I think most of the media agrees with you which is why they've been targeting him so much. Of course that just seems to be helping him. Politically speaking, it's very useful to have the right enemies.
My posts kill threads.
As stated before, I hope he (DeSantis) isn't on the 2024 Ticket. I hope he completes his full two terms as Gov. of FL. We need him here. We need him to run in 2022 for his 2nd term. Then we can see how "free" he feels in pushing pro-2A legislation.
He can then run in 2028 for President. And if he does well in his 2nd term in FL, I'll definitely support him in 2028 for US President.
Exactly, could not have said it any better.FfNJGTFO wrote:As stated before, I hope he (DeSantis) isn't on the 2024 Ticket. I hope he completes his full two terms as Gov. of FL. We need him here. Harris is only the vp cause she is black and a woman. She lost early in the run. But now as vp she actually has a chance to run for president and make it just cause there is so much hate for the right.
