Thanks for posting this! I sent this to a family member who recently bought a vehicle with this "feature." He'll probably install a kill switch somewhere too.

Funny that the OEMs never adopted rolling codes like have been used for garage door openers for the last 30 years. As usual, the bean counters probably did not want to spend the 5 cents extra for the $70k car for the feature.

The newest gadget is to use NFC from your cell phone so you don't need a fob at all.
Ah that's one thing about our Flame, doesn't play any favorites! Flame hates everybody!

I agree with joker 223, kill switch...even if I went strictly to a manual key, locks can be jimmied, and cars started. A hidden kill switch is great.
