Being reading a lot of Pedro Gonzalez recently, who posts in a number of spots. I guess he could be called a "paleo-conservative." I generally like them much more than "conservatives," and certainly far more than "neo-conservatives," whom I now cannot distinguish from neo-liberals.

Anyway, PG has been on a roll recently. Here is a piece he recently wrote for Chronicles (Feb. 2022), where the great Paul Gottfried is the editor-in-chief. Prof. Gottfried is a man I truly admire as a thinker, and who has written several books well worth reading. Here is PG's piece:

First two paragraphs:

The political hostility of the United States today is directed at no one more than America’s European-descended whites—the group whose ancestors are largely responsible for settling, building, and defending this country.

That is not to say others contributed nothing, but that the largest contributions and, indeed, the central elements of America’s political and cultural institutions are largely derived from the beliefs, practices, tastes, and traditions of European settlers. Presently, however, this group is public enemy number one. Recent events amid the left’s latest political putsch and the COVID-19 outbreak illustrate what is essentially a genocidal enmity toward whites and its practical intensification.

Remember it was mostly Southern Democrats who were slave owners and ceded from the United States in order to keep their possessions the black slaves. Now they just feed them hateful lies and free money. Plus let the run freely amuck looting, robbing, hurting innocent Americans without any real reprocoussions since this party of hate called the Democratic Socialist Party seized power through corruption.

I do disagree with your somewhat, F2000. It is not the 13%, or certainly not all of them. It is largely white, liberal elites driving this genocidal bus. Look how things just played out in Canada. Plainly the elites there hate the white working class just as badly as here, and they don't have nearly the racial baggage we do.

Certainly I do not agree with them all the time--I don't agree with ANYONE all the time. But they are fair, and I don't feel they are driven by hatred of white people. And there are many like them, many not eggheads. I would love to see Herschel Walker do well in GA. He and his son are outstanding Americans.
