Mystery Mag. ID help

I picked up this mag the other day hoping it would fit my MAC 11/9. It's a bit too wide to fit my magwell. Does anyone know what it fits?

That's a mag for a VZ24/26. It takes 7.62x25 ammunition.

Hmmm... that wasn't even on my maybe list. I was thinking STEN, but VZ mags do look like this.

Yeah, I'm pretty upset too. I have three parts kits, one of which I was going to use to make one of these, but then I became unemployed some months ago, so by the time I can actually move on this, they'll all probably be gone. It looks like they're out of the 16" barrels already. Needless to say, I was not happy when I looked up the link to share with you.

I dont know about the kits now, but at one time not log ago they were practically giving them away.

I think I had one from Royal Tiger for $50

I tried cowboying it back together using a turned down aluminum "jig" insert but it didnt go well.

The work to going from open bolt SMG to close bolt SA on those is pretty rough.

You could buy the remil tube, buy the Indy bolt ($350) and then a barrel and everything, get to welding, youre going to be like $1.5K into that thing.

I have a bunch of the mags too. I was planning to try to marry one of the magwells to an UZI to make myself an 30 cal UZI. It's been done, but not in great numbers. I was hoping to make an actual CZ26 clone too, but that seems out of the question now.
