John Taffin, one of the most prolific and influential writers on the topic of sixguns (revolvers, for you young folks) and their ammunition since Elmer Keith, died last night.
I grew up reading his articles in various gun magazines, and have several of his books. Nowadays, I suppose podcasters and Youtubers are replacing print writers as a major source of information (or, unfortunately, mis-information) for new shooters. It’s the end of an era.
