Three to Six day Form 4 Trust turn times

Times have indeed changed. My trust bought two cans on 03/13. I got an approval email for one 03/19 and the other approval on 03/20 making total times six and seven days start to finish.

My trust also bought three cans on March 18th. One was approved on 03/21, and the other on 03/23. Three and five days was great. The oddest part is the last two were approved on Sunday... at 7pm.

I hate paying the tax and registration of the NFA, but this sure beats the year plus of the old days.

Yes, same trust for all. The trust a Silencer Shop trust, but these cans weren't from a Silencer Shop dealer. I've bought a bunch in the past from Silencer Shop on this trust, but they seem to be in a perpetual "Out of Stock" or "Back Ordered" for things we've been wanting.

Paid for a can November 9 at the WPB show. Application through the Silencer Shop. I’m still used to the 9 month wait, so after 4 months, I’m not worried. I get a text from the Silencer Shop asking me to call them. I assumed it’s my approval. Turns out they’ve been E-mailing me for 4 months asking for more info. Turns out they had the wrong E-mail addy, & the selling FFL opened 2 accounts for me. After calling the FFL to complain, they got it straightened out after a few days. Finally 4 months after paying for the can, & doing all the paperwork, the application was finally submitted to the ATF on 3/12. ATF approval was 3/18. The FFL employee who took my info was fired. So my form 4 was approved after 6 days, but I waited over 4 months from the day I paid until I was approved. GARY.

I've had great luck with SilencerShop. I have done a bunch of Form 1 SBRs myself using ATF's E-Forms. Because I have an ATF account attached to my trust, it makes errors like yours less probable even with a Non-SilencerShop retail purchase.
